Draft Masterplan for extended area and review for Abbey Quarter - public display and consultation
The Council has, following considerable fieldwork and consultation, prepared a draft Masterplan for an extended Abbey Quarter area (to include Vicar Street & Greensbridge Street) along with a review of policy and the Urban Design Code (2018).
The Draft Masterplan will be on public display from Friday June 2nd to Friday June 30th June (both dates inclusive) and may be inspected at the following locations:
The passcode is 444430. No booking is needed for this.
Please note that all submissions will be made available for public viewing on Kilkenny County Council’s consultation website during the plan-making period. Kilkenny County Council will treat all personal data provided as confidential. We will retain your data for no longer than is necessary for the purpose of this Masterplan and in accordance with Kilkenny County Council’s Retention Policy and the relevant Data Protection legislation.
Submissions or observations on the Draft Masterplan must be received by 5pm Friday, 30th June 2023.
Please note late submissions will not be accepted.

There will also be two in-person information sessions during this period. Both will be held on June 20th in the Ormonde Hotel, Ormonde St., Kilkenny.
